Dr. Thomas A. Spalten has provided dentistry in the San Antonio area since 1980. He earned his undergraduate decree at SMU and his dental degree at UTSA. In addition, his postgraduate residencies at UTSA allowed him to develop greater expertise in general dentistry treatment. Annually attending continuing education courses enables Dr. Spalten to stay at the forefront of his specialty so that he can provide optimal care to his patients. This allows Dr. Spalten to offer his patients the finest state‑of‑the‑art dental care. He regularly attends courses focusing on restorative and cosmetic dentistry so that the most current treatment options are available to his patients.

Dr. Spalten is also dedicated to serving the local community. Dr. Spalten is an active member of many community services and charitable organizations. Dr. Spalten is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, San Antonio District Dental Society, Crown Council, Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and other prestigious dental organizations.

Deborah started working for Dr. Spalten in April of 1996. She has been involved in dental management for the past 12 years and is a major key player in our practice. Deborah has been married for 32 years and has 2 grown children. She enjoys painting as well as participating in B.B.Q cookoffs around Texas with her husband.

Jessica joined our team in October of 1997. She is a vital team player in our front office operation, assists patients with all aspects of insurance needs and helps schedule appointments convienently and timely for our patients. Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband, hanging out at the beach and bay & deep sea fishing.

Jennie has been a dental assistant since 1982. Her initial experience in the dental field began in Corpus Christi, Texas. She then moved to San Antonio and has been in the dental field ever since. Jennie has worked with Dr. Spalten since September of 1992. In her spare time she enjoys working in her yard and taking care of her many pets.

Celia, one of Dr. Spalten’s newest employees as of September 2002, graduated from UTHSCSA in 1988. Celia is dedicated to evaluating your dental health and helping you establish and maintain good oral health. Celia enjoys spending time with her family and reading.
